Joseph Dronet is an associate attorney focused primarily on criminal defense and personal injury law. A native of Lake Charles, he graduated from Sam Houston High School in Moss Bluff and went on to attend McNeese State University, achieving Summa Cum Laude within his political science field of study. Following this, Joseph earned a Juris Doctorate and Diploma in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law School, graduating in the top 10% of his class as a member of the Order of the Coif. He was also a member of the Ethics Committee, served as president of the tennis club, and is currently a member of the 2022 Young Lawyers Section Board.

In his free time, Joseph enjoys playing golf and tennis, watching sports, and spending quality time with close friends and family. He is also an avid LSU sports fan. When asked why he pursued a career in law, he responded, “I understood from a young age being an attorney meant being someone who could truly change someone’s life for the better. Lawyers wield the power to bring so much good to society, which is what I will always strive to do as an attorney.”
