Erin Abrams is an associate attorney focused on Domestic Law. She was born and raised in Southern California, where she attended San Diego State University and played Division I water polo. Erin completed her Juris Doctorate at the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University, where she was an inaugural member of the Order of the Barristers and served on the Trial Advocacy Board.
Erin is passionate about the courtroom and understanding of the unique and emotional situations clients often face. Considering such, she highly values and protects the trust her clients place in her integrity and capabilities. She is decisive and strategic and communicates clearly, always providing an honest assessment of what options exist, the key considerations respective to each of those options, as well as where a case stands at any point in the process.
In her free time, Erin enjoys cooking, camping, kayaking, and spending time with her friends and family. She currently serves as President of the SWLA Bar Association’s Family Law Section and as a Board Member of the SWLA Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section. She is also a member of the Junior League of Lake Charles.
